Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York
Located in a former printing plant in Greenwich village, this loft’s visual energy focuses on large windows facing a tree-lined courtyard. We kept the architecture simple and restrained, maintaining the primacy of the beautiful view. Cherry-veneer cabinetry and industrial maple flooring from the original space are primary surface materials. The original ornamented cast-iron columns link the new loft to its industrial origins.
